I would give SMUD less than 0 I have been a customer for over 18 years and never had a bill go over $95.00 and that with the air conditioning going all day and night so why is it that I got charged $200.00 for 1 moth of service when I had no heater of any kind on..my central heater was being repaired so for 2 months I had no heat and I can prove it!! Someone was suppose to come out over 2 weeks ago and never showed up Yet!! you had no problem finding my house to give me a DISCONNECT NOTICE!! I have 2 disabled people in this ... read more

You guys shut my power off on Friday night so I have to deal with out power for 2 days till customer service opens on Monday. I can't believe theres no other option by now, I'm so upset that there is no other option its really stupid and unprofessional

Power out all night and estimated restore time is 10:05 a.m. - 12 hours in a heat wave and a refrigerator full of spoiling food. This transformer keeps blowing but because we're a small community of 46 homes we aren't a priority! No repair truck anywhere to be seen. What about all the money we lose for throwing out food constantly. Check the FDA website on food safety! Don't tell people their food is fine after 12 hours when the house is 80 inside! I would just like to say to the person who resonds to all off the customer feedback, why dont you respond to all the comments? I understand why not the ones who cant type rresponsibly. But i am experiencing a lower power then usual its been a few hours the food in my freezer is slowly melting and i am wondering if smud has any kind of policy on replacing anything. SMUD refuses to give me power unless the owner pays a past due bill that was in his name. He does not live in the house. You say i can have survice anywhere but at this address. That BS. I am making repairs on the house and Im using a generator to provide power when i need it. Now the building inspector wants to lock me out of the house because there is no power.
