Went to our first ever NBA game here. While the team is bad (except Zion), the energy and atmosphere was great. The crowd is very supportive and I wish they had a better result. Regardless it was a great experience. The lines to get into the game were efficient and quick. The arena itself was really great, awesome music and lighting. The seats, section 113, row 12, were awesome and about $125 a seat. The seats were well cushioned and had drink holders. Smoothie King Center is the home of the New Orleans Pelicans and an exciting place to watch NBA action. A tad chaotic around the entrance, but staff was patient and friendly. Snacks were good, facilities were clean, and souvenir shopping was very convenient. Had a good time even as the Pelicans lost.

Came for the Childish Gambino concert. This is normally where the NBA team plays so everything is fairly newish and nice. Security and the ushers were pleasant and helpful. Concessions are expensive, $8 for my bottle of desanti water. The restrooms were clean. The show was awesome. The audio was excellent, the music was appropriately loud but you could make out the components and voices. Special effects were even more impressive. Small arena. But works in your favor. Every seat will "feel" much closer to the court than other places I've been. The food however, is just like other arenas... A rip off. Let's go Pels
