I'm not sure what happened last fall, but this company seems to have lost the script. I'd been with them for years, service was great. Then last fall the pickups became sporadic. From Thanksgiving until January, one 1 pickup. I had bags sitting on the ground next to the full bin. I finally canceled my account in January. I got bills February and March, which I didn't pay. I think an email or text from them would have been the respectable thing to do, just to let me know what's up.

It was good for the first seven years and then something drastically changed. Pick up became sporadic, then bills came, but no service we went over a month without a pick up. We tried to call numerous times. Then we canceled service as directed on the website and still continued receiving bills. We still have the can still waiting on them to pick it up. It’s been four months.

Do not use this trash service. Like many other comments listed, this company started out just fine but over the last year, they have become more and more inconsistent and had very little communication. Things happen, equipment breaks but you have to have a plan to somehow continue the service you are being paid to do or at least communicate with your customers. We have used Smokey Valley since 2021 with only a few instances that the truck was down or he had a terrible injury. We continue with them. However since November 1 we have had trash picked up twice. I have called- can’t leave a message cause their mailbox is full. I have text, no response! I have sent the formal cancellation of service in-no response! SCAM!!! Used to be legit. Hasn’t picked our trash since November. Won’t answer text messages, emails, or phone calls to cancel. Knocked on their door - also no answer. Going to have to cancel my whole card to get the charges to stop. Charged for 4 months with no service & no way to cancel.
