I had SMRC lower my 2024 F150 front and back 3/5 kit they done an excellent job and the truck actually drives better than it ever did, it has the perfect stance and looks awesome, Chris drove me to the car rental company because I had to rent a car for a couple days while they worked on my truck, they were very nice and helpful in everything I needed, I would 100% recommend SMRC to do any modifications you need, Thanks Chris and the whole crew

I’ve had SMRC work on several of my vehicles and they do solid work, plain and simple. They know old cars and trucks, and they know how to do things the right way. They narrowed the rear end and installed coilovers on my car, and the work was clean and done right. On my truck, they installed a rack and pinion and handled several other upgrades with no issues at all. They’re very knowledgeable with LS swaps, wiring, modern accessories, and custom fabrication, and their metal work is top notch. No shortcuts, no guesswork. What... read more

Rob and all his folks have been a pleasure to work with. I have the first 68-72 A body chassis they built and it fits perfectly. The CAD guys are second to none! We all worked closely together helping each other build a frame that would be easy for anyone to put under their car with no hassle. I appreciate them listening to me and considering my comments. We did find some improvements to make, they took my frame and immediately done the repairs. This is definitely a high quality shop with some of the most talented people aro... read more

I’ve had my pro street 1955 Chevy for awhile and found it hard to drive distances with the vibrations I’ve developed in lowering the stance. I’ve taken this car to couple of shops to help me pin point and fix the problem, to find out they made it worse. I met With Rob Perry the owner of Smokey mountain rod and custom and him and his team dove into the problem extensively. They found a pinion angle adjustment completely out of the realm for proper handling and comfort. They made the necessary adjustments and tested it thoroug... read more
