On July 1, 1982, the agency became free-standing and was incorporated as Smoky Hill Foundation for Chemical Dependency, Inc., a private, non-profit corporation for the prevention, intervention and treatment of substance abuse. In 1987, Smoky Hill Foundation became the umbrella agency for the Regional Prevention Center of Northwest Kansas. Established in 1982.

They do not! Have a Dr.on call for people that do go to their group's withdrawing from various substances!!. The need is there!!.They had better start filling that void!!..Was put on terminal hold!! By the director!!! Of all people!!! Waited 15 minutes while on terminal hold!... As you people read! Obviously I got sick of waiting!!.Do your research people!! Before you go into the land of Substance abuse or Use Disorder! In the state of Kansas!!!...
