Amazing campground with excellent customer service and QUIET area! Dog friendly with a huge dog park just down the road! The campground is beautiful, with lots of shade and moss, native plants, and in July, gorgeous blooms. There is just enough space between your camp and your neighbors’ to allow for privacy. Just outside of the city, this campground was great! Paved roads within the campground and level gravel pads. Lots of trees gives it a cozy feel. Staff was very nice and they even let me borrow a section of sewer hose since mine was not long enough. Pool and hot tub were great as well. Also, if you're into hiking, the "old settler's trail" is just a short walk down the highway from the campground. I definitely recommend this place and we will absolutely return!
First time staying at this campground. We loved it. It’s quiet and very clean and well maintained. Definitely will be our place to stay when we travel to Gatlinburg.
My husband and I brought our 5th wheel camper and stayed a week here at Smoky Bear Campground. We were late arrival due to heavy rain through most of our 13 hour drive from Missouri. We were met at the office by Patrick (the owner), with a friendly smile even though it was after 10 p.m. He very graciously showed us to our campsite and since it was late and past quiet time, he upgraded us to a pull through site for easier access.
