Way surpassed my expectations!!! They had everything we could want. Fly and open face reels set up on the dock, Stainless steel cleaning station, helped set up river and ocean fishing tours, freezer for our fish, vacuum seal equipment, and on and on.... The best part was it was family owned and Sarah made us feel at home. She made sure we had what we needed at our cabin, helped clean fish, shared a few meals with us around the fire and cooked us up some fried halibut one night and halibut chowder one brisk morning. There isnt enough kind words I can say about the owner. The cabins top notch, location amazing and just one of the best experiences ever ... loved this place
Just got back from Smokin Joe's Lodge and had a trip of a lifetime, Arlene was so warm and inviting i felt like i was visiting a close friend. She has connections for guides, boats and excursions that is the best of the best on all the surrounding rivers. She runs a top operation and i would suggest staying and fishing with Smokin Joes
