Extremely disappointed with this catering business. My fiancée ordered $1162 worth of bbq and sides from this place. Everything was dry and flavorless. The servers were awkward, seemed like two teenagers on their first day on the job. Was not worth the money whatsoever.
I had the pleasure of working a wedding with this team in 2025 (as the Coordinator) and must say, they made my life SO much easier! I did not have to direct them once; I basically just looked up and everything was magically done. They were also so personable, kind and professional, and their food was mouth-watering. I would highly recommend Smokin JJ's BBQ to anyone for any occasion, and personally can't wait for the next opportunity I get to work with them!
Smokin JJs catered our outdoor wedding in August of this year, and their food was an absolute hit! Everyone said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We got three meats and three sides - the Mac and cheese was the first to be devoured because it was so tasty, but everything was absolutely delicious. The s’mores station was a hit as well! Great food.
I saw reviews for Smoking JJs all over Reddit when I was looking for someone to cater my wedding. I did not want to pay $80/person because weddings are already SO expensive, but I also didnt want crappy food. When we sampled JJ's food, we werent sure what to expect... their food blew us away. It was SOOOOO GOOD!!! We few about 150 people with 3 different appetizers, 3 main dish meats, and 3 sides for roughly $24/person. We also had so many people at our wedding comment on how good the food was.
