Are the waitresses stoned? You sit down and not one of the employees realize you are there. How does one eat beans without silverware? Two ouces of the tea is the requirement to eat a whole meal here, you will not see anyone to refill it and its just a cup full of ice anyway.I actualy had to get my own napkins off someone elses table. And please clean up the parking lot, I know the owners make enough for some new pavement , right?
Smokey Joe's Barbecue is worth the drive! Great BBQ. I would say if you are in this area this is a must. Service is always fast. People are always nice and polite and the food is awesome!! This is true Lexington style BBQ. This is a good country restaurant.
Lexington-style BBQ at its best! Absolutely the place to go for good juicy barbecue, Lexington style. The barbecue is never dry, with just the right amount of barbecue sauce. Not only the barbecue, but all of the food is great. The waitstaff are friendly and welcoming, and very helpful in every way, and did I mention the barbecue? Yes, I think I did, but it's fantastic! Smokey Joes epitomizes Lexington style BBQ in every way.
My fav. place :) I loveeeeeeee the jumbo cheesburger with mayo and pickles... I also enjoy the staff. Everyone is very friendly and quick service. I would say they have the best BBQ in Lexington as well!
