What can I say.. I really wanted to like it , but.. The Good: Great bbq sauces, good ribs and porchetta , and excellent dark chocolate chilli and good collard greens. The Bad: $9.00 for a cup of chilli and a hand full of chips.( bit pricey) The brisket was quite dry, and this should be the BBQ show stopper. The cornbread was terrible store bought mix ( no actual corn used) . The Mac and Cheese was inedible , watered down Kraft shells. The Cole slaw was average, lacked any imagination. This place serves the best melt in your mouth brisket in this area. Although it's not cheap ($19 per half a pound as of this writing), it's worth it. They have some draft beer but not a lot, although they keep things simple and do the meat right.
My friends and I visited this location today after hearing great reviews for this place. Our server was Jillian who made it such an unpleasant experience. From the moment she arrived to the table, we were greeted with nothing but attitude — she walked away in the middle of us speaking and showed visible frustration when we inquired about the menu. Had a great time here! I got the brisket and mac & cheese, and both were absolutely tender, flavorful and delicious. My girlfriend had the ribs and they were great as well. The beer I had was also pretty good. Service was friendly and quick. They also have a nice outdoor seating area, but we sat inside, which was comfortable and relaxed. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to
