Why be called a smog place if you can't do smogs? They know their system doesn't work and tells you to go somewhere else.
My car failed smog because check engine light came on. They took the time to explain that they are a 2G repair station authorized by DMV. He explained the waiver process to me and recommended to never consider getting an illegal smog because there could be serious consequences. He showed me a paper from the DMV that explained the waiver. He answered all of my questions and they took care of the whole process for me.
