We went there for breakfast this morning and it was awesome! I got steak and eggs and it was unreal, the steak was PERFECTLY medium rare, seasoned just right, the eggs were just as good...it was absolutely outstanding. And my husband's food was perfect as well, he grew up here and said it's always been good here. We don't eat out for breakfast very often, but we will make an exception now. Southwest Benedict was really good, love their hollandaise sauce. I'm just not impressed on the avocado they put in one of them as it was not fresh but rather half of it was like blackening. Shredded hashbrown was also really good.
A lot of menu items unavailable, basically half the kids menu. I love the smittys red wine braised beef - they just had roast beef and it wasn’t great. My fiancée had the turkey dinner and it was very dry. The veg was greasy for some reason and my broccoli and cauliflower were clearly old as the stalks were turning brown. Head down the street to the Boston pizza. Our server was nice though.
The restaurant was ok. $80 for a dinner of 2 adults and 2 children so a bit on the pricey side. It is attached to the gas station so they both use the same bathroom and it was disgusting.
