I recently faced the heartbreaking loss of my grandpa. He passed at home late at night and we were unable to get a hold of the funeral home with which we had a pre-paid plan. I contacted Smits Funeral Home after being turned down by other local funeral homes. We are deeply grateful to Tim & Smits Funeral Home for their kindness and compassion during an incredibly difficult time. Tim went above and beyond to help us transfer our daughter Malak from the hospital to her final resting place — without charging us anything. He made two trips to the hospital and patiently waited for the necessary paperwork to be completed, all with grace and respect. We will never forget this act of generosity and humanity. Our family has been dealing with Smits Funeral Home services through several generations and will continue to seek their experience and knowledge in the future.
