Terrible. I mostly pay to not have any internet. And if I do accidentally happen to have service we can only operate 1 thing at a time. Thumbs down.

Very unprofessional staff. Customer service hung up on me. After the first year, my wifi bill went from $40/month to $75/month. It's the only wifi wired into the River Centre so I had to buy a hotspot through Verizon just to get internet without paying an arm and a leg.

Internet service is constantly in and out, stuck with cable in our area even though we've recieved cards saying we're eligible for fiber only to call and be told we're not in an area thats even currently scheduled for it, plan says up to 50 mbps and we cap out at 12 mbps download rate, internet goes in and out all the time (im a video gamer and its infuriating), call about issues with connectivity and am told its a wire or router inside the house causing the problem which last time I bothered with them was a brand new router... read more

Avoid Smithville at all costs. Service is patchy at best and many times the speeds go way down due to (according to Smithville service rep) “volume”.... isn’t that what fast internet is supposed overcome? Then when covid knocked out my business they still charged me for the remaining 6 months.... shame on you Smithville for charging small businesses during a pandemic which close and don’t even use your service anymore!!!! Terrible .

Service is not working weekly there phone system is down and they are a phone company no way to get ahold of them

Hey thanks for letting your guys cut my line so I was without my service for days on end until Xfinity could fix your mistake. Not having internet and tv is appreciated when working from home and trying to do virtual school for your 3 children.

Really appreciate the professionalism of both their customer service team and their technician. The technician showed up when expected and was able to complete the installation process quickly. I was really impressed by how he kept me in the loop during the installation process.

I wanted to take advantage of their free installation offer with a 12-month agreement for gigabit internet in my new home, but since my home had installation, but only up to 300mbs, they would not honor the free installation and instead was going to charge me $300 to replace a card. They were willing to place a box outside of my home (with the correct card), install an outlet and run a fiber line into the home for free - but would not swap out a pre-existing set-up and card for the same promotion, which makes no sense since ... read more
