Me, a middle aged woman who just likes picking up heavy stuff 🤝 body builders who bring positive energy to the space Cannot say enough about this gem of a local business. The owner is truly invested in it and absolutely cares about the members, and will go above and beyond to help when and where needed. The environment is calm and welcoming, everyone is friendly and encouraging. You'll get a spot and a cheer from a stranger across the gym during your sets, gotta love it.
A complete GEM of a place!! Tons of cardio machines, weight machines, an iron playground with plenty of benches/racks, and two full sets of dumbbells. I never ONCE had to wait to use any equipment. Signing up was extremely easy and totally remote, so I was able to have my first work out at 9 PM without ever signing paperwork in person. The 24 hour access is a game changer. Smith's is a well-known locally owned gym in Augusta. The owner is pleasant and professional and works hard to make it a welcoming place. From the first time I stepped in the door, she was more than happy to offer a tour, answer questions and offer friendly conversation. The best part is that the gym is open 24/7, so you can fit a workout into your schedule at your convenience.
