My experience was awful, will never go there again. I was told that since it was 20 yrs old that it wasn't worth fixing even though it was working before the belt broke. He even told me that I didn't take care of it even though I changed the oil every year, changed the spark plug and would start every time on first pull.
Job Well Done. My Ariens lawn tractor died so I called Smith's for repair. They came and picked up the tractor and within 4 hours it was back to me running perfectly and the cost of repair was very reasonable.
I still can't figure out why people like this place. They sell great brands, but there pricing is outrageous and the demeanor is disgusting. My latest example of their service: I have a Toro snow blower that is 5 years old. At the end of this winter (first week in March) I took it to Smiths to get it a good once over. The owners son (he has 2 that work there) told me that they wouldn't service the snow blower now because they were busy with lawnmowers.
