I have always appreciated the consistency of Smithfield’s. The BBQ isn’t great, it’s electric cooked with no wood/smoke, but it’s consistent. The chicken has always been crunchy and generous. However, portion sizes have gotten significantly smaller while prices have gone up significantly larger. A Google image search will show you the days when you would get a full plate of bbq with sides. Today I had over half a plate of hushpuppies and maybe five bites of Brunswick stew.
