The barbecue can be inconsistent—sometimes flavorful, sometimes dry—and the sides are pretty average. My main concern is inconsistency in service and cleanliness depending on the location. It’s reliable enough in a pinch, but not always the best experience.
This place is absolutely great! We come here every time we visit family. We’re from Ohio. Y’all have something very special going on in NC. The food is always awesome and the service is impeccable. Keep it up!

Used to be at the top of the customer service scale but has slipped significantly in the last year. Food still good, but today I didn't get enough bbq in my combination to make a small bbq sandwich but got enough hushpuppies to serve at a church supper. Never asked what I wanted for my sides. I got what she wanted me to have I guess but a real kick in the butt was I went to my table and a guy brought it in a bag like it was take out. He was not connected well and I'll leave it at that.
