My provider faxed over two referrals and they claim to have not received either one. After the third referral was faxed over, they never bothered to call me. I called AGAIN and was told they need more information, mind you she already told them I had pre-cancerous spots on my face from years of sun exposure. The lady on the phone was less than helpful. I ended up getting in somewhere else, had them frozen off and prescribed chemotherapy cream and STILL haven't heard back from Smith Dermatology. I had high hopes, but I am sad... read more

My experience at SmithCare Dermatology was wonderful. All staff were welcoming and engaging, and it shows that they care and listen to their patients. Dr. Smith was very gentle with me. I had a biopsy, and she was so attentive, observant, and kind when I expressed some of my fears. Her medical assistants were very compassionate as well. I know that at SmithCare Dermatology, I am in good hands.

I was referred to SmithCare for mohs surgery by Kaiser Permanente. I am retired, a skilled researcher, and my investigation indicated this is a highly regarded medical facility. My experience supported that reality. The minute I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the front office person. The facility was bright, clean, and beautifully decorated. Dr. Smith and staff were professional, engaging, and put me at ease through the face cutting process. They calmed my heightened nerves. They're a gifted group, and I feel blessed... read more

This clinic is very bad at helping clients. I have been trying to set an appointment for almost a year now since my 1st visit but they say we are a few months out and they would remind me of my appointment. No body ever calls back, answers the phone or gives reminders and if you are lucky to get a hold of them then your appointment is still a few months out every single time and your turn never comes. The worst service I have ever seen…

I have been asked to reschedule my appointment with Ginger 5 times since January 2024; two times I was called the day prior to reschedule. At no point did staff offer an apology, they just stated we need to reschedule. Today when I was called to reschedule, I was told Ginger wasn't scheduled to work at the time of my appointment. Clearly there are scheduling and staffing issues that need to be addressed by Dr. Smith and the practice.
