So far so good had a total rebuild picked it up today he waited after closing for us to arrive A1 service even offered extended warranty 🫡
Great place to get your transmission rebuilt. I own a shop and I send my transmissions here.
I had gone to get my transmission fluid serviced and when I went to pick it up they had told me none of my gears worked and then happily told me it would take $3200 to rebuild the transmission and 6 months to get it in do not recommend dated out in 2023
Smith Transmission has now rebuilt two transmissions (2007 Silverado and 2018 suburban) for us over the past few years, and both times they went above and beyond. They are trustworthy, so kind, and are great at what they do. We are very happy to support local business, and will continue using Smith Transmission in the future. We would recommend Smith Transmission to anyone!
2005 gmc canyon rebuilt at 187k. Now back out at 222k. It gone me down the road for another 35k. Now dtc for mechanical component slipping. Fluid looks OK and is at the right level. I drove the truck real easy because I was always scared it would go out again... it did anyway. Stay away from this buisness!!
