I went through Cataract procedure with Dr. Smith. His staff were very comforting and professional. They answered all my questions and explained things exceptionally well. The procedure was a little nerve racking but Dr. Smith made me feel very comfortable and was over with very quickly. I have not had any problems with my eyes after the procedure. I can see perfectly again. 😀
Dr Smith inserted a toric lens in my left eye in January. It was put in upside down and I could not see properly. I wanted the lens removed within 3 months so that scar tissue did not form. He insisted on a 2nd opinion and an angiogram, neither of which were necessary and I had to wait for months for the appointments. At 6 months the lens was finally removed although there was already scar tissue. I asked Dr. Smith just before the surgery if he was confident he could remove the lens. He said he was.
