$500 for a chimney sweep that barely got swept. On top of that the technician's English was so broken he didn't understand and couldn't answer any of my questions. Inspection revealed my chimney is perfect, even though I know the flue is broken and several spots in the firebox need mortar repair.
I spent an entire day waiting for them to show up for an appointment originally scheduled between 9am and 11 am. I was told the tech attempted to call and got no answer, albeit I was at home and waiting as I told them from the beginning. I was then told they would be at my home between 2 and 4pm. After calling at 3, I was assured they were coming. I call back a few minutes after 4 and cancelled. Evidently, they don't need the business. Don't know if they do good work or not. But, at this point I don't care.
