We had a wonderful experience with Smith and Sons! We bought a condo that needed to be completely gutted and brought up to code. The planning that went into the project made clear that Scott and his crew were experts in the face of a daunting job. They required all electrical, removed a nightmarish sewage ejector pump and replaced it with two pump and grinder system, rebuilt our kitchen and bathroom, installed a wetbar, replaced all drywall, put in new flooring throughout, and replaced all light and plumbing fixtures. I was very pleased with the quality of work done by Smith & Sons to replace a badly damaged concrete patio. Documentation was handled professionally and promptly, and the project was completed in the scheduled time frame. It was a pleasure dealing with Max, Jed and the crew. I will definitely be calling them for future home projects.
Well the job was mostly done, and after spending $175k, going $50k over budget, and waiting 5 months beyond what was promised, the renovations were "completed". It has now been a year and a half since then and the floor that was installed is falling apart, all of the squeeking/popping they assured me would be remediated during renovations "because that's why you hire an expert" has never gone away, and we have been left with the feeling that we paid for premium quality and got mid...
