What a terrific store! Met the owner, terrific guy, who clearly practices what he preaches (see the quote on the pic). Their prices are also more than fair.
Tom has done many repairs for me. He is awesome at what he does.
I stopped by Smith & Son to have a pair of pearl earrings fixed. Pearl earrings are faulty by design and every so often, the pearl will come loose from the post and needs to be repaired. I’ve had my pearl earrings for six years and whenever I get them repaired at other jewelers, the repair seems flimsy and the pearls are usually returned to me dirty like they never got cleaned. Tom the jeweler at Smith and Sons Jewelers in Enfield was excellent. He fixed my wife's father's watch, fixed my wedding band which had a diamond come loose and totally fixed my wife's ring which was smashed flat after being run over by a car (Long story). Both rings came out beautiful like they were brand new and the watch runs great. Service was personable, prompt and affordable.
