Had an exceptional time on the river in a kayak who is my family and friends and couldn't ask for more when it came to getting going on a trip like that either family is kind of nerve-wrecking but it was very useful having such a personal helping us with this trip he had everything you can think of phone cases shoes bathing suits everything we were pretty much that when we went and yes I would recommend going to this company.

Carl was great! He gives you all the gear you need for kayaking, even down to the socks if you don’t want to mess up your own! He gave us recommendations on where to paddle too to get the best views and where others in our party who did not want to kayak could watch. Definitely will be glad to come back!

We're out here for a couple days for our honeymoon and Carl worked with us to find a day with the best weather forecast for our trip. He is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to point out any potential rough areas on the map to us ahead of time. We saw beautiful harbor seals, river otters, herons, pelicans, and kingfishers along the estuary to mouth route. A very peaceful afternoon, and not another human in sight!

Great experience! We did a half day rental paddling around the estuary. Carl the owner was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely come back and kayak again next time I am in the area.

We had a fantastic day kayaking down Smith River from Ruby Van Deventer to the ocean. Carl gave us detailed information about what we would encounter and outfitted us with the appropriate and very comfortable kayak and every possible piece of gear or clothing we could want. He is a great guy, Very knowledgeableand truly wants everyone to have a wonderful experience on the river. Highly recommend.
