An amazing experience! So much incredible wildlife to see alongside your journey in a beautiful unspoilt area. Carl knows the rivers inside out and gives clear advice & directions and is a fantastic pro- he can also tell you other amazing things to see on your journey if you are touring! Thank you for a truly memorable experience.
We had the best experience with Smith River Kayaks. Our family of 4 (kids are 7 and 9 years old) rented 1 double and 2 singles, and Carl outfitted us with everything we needed, including life jackets, waterproof cases for phones/keys, and even hats for the kids. He was so knowledgeable, and provided tips for the best route, spotting wildlife, and avoiding more difficult areas if the wind picked up. Highly recommend!
Very good service, very nice area to kayak
We had a wonderful experience on our impromptu decision to go kayaking on the Smith River during our spontaneous unplanned vacation. The gentleman helping us was awesome and knowledgeable. He had many kayaks available and even had hats, bags and all the things to have a successful trip. We aren’t Avid kayakers and felt confident on our Exploration. Also, the price is reasonable with no time limits. Thank you for your assistance!
