I contacted Generac to have a whole-house backup generator installed and was referred to Smith Power Group as their authorized representative in my area. Carlton Smith came to my house personally to evaluate what size generator was required. I was extremely impressed with Carlton as he was very personable, knowledgeable and professional and able to answer all of my questions. Smith Power had serviced our Generac 20KW generator for a few years. Over time we've come to realize we needed a stronger unit to meet our needs. Till now we've always spoke with Mary when we needed service and felt like we had a good enough relationship that we could depend on receiving an honest recommendation from Smith Power. We called and within a couple of days Carlton visited us, performed a thorough evaluation and recommended we upgrade to a Generac 26KW unit. I used the group from Williamstown, so there may be different sites. The ones I used very easy to work with. Had generatored serviced and repairs performed.The tech explained everything and a grrst job an no issues so far. So i give 5 stars.
