I can’t recommend Dr Pete Smith enough. He’s such a fantastic immunologist and just a really great doctor overall. He was so thorough and took his time, asking lots of questions and really trying to understand everything going on, not just the obvious symptoms. I was sent home to put the test on myself, I don’t know if it was even done properly. A very expensive test with no beneficial outcome or follow up from this practice to continue to source the chemical I react to. I still have issues with unknown chemicals although not bad but bothersome.
Professor Pete Smith is one of the most caring health professionals I have met. Being one of his complex MCAS/hEDS/PTSD patients, he gave me advice and care that saved my life and allowed me to digest food again. There are a lot of negative reviews here so I want to clarify: he is a warm and empathetic specialist who is also human and seems a lot like many of us in neurotype. As he once stated, the quality of his practice is only as good as his reception staff. While he may be suitable for basic allergy cases, our experience suggests that he struggles with more complex cases.
