I have taken multiple pets to Smith Mountain Lake Animal Hospital since the first day they were in business. I have always had a good experience; even through the worst of times , saying goodbye to a pet. Their compassion and knowledge are outstanding. Throughout the years, they have cared for four dogs, 16 cats and a duck for me. They aren’t just my pet’s doctors but I also consider them to be my friends. The office staff and technicians are outstanding. They are the best you can find.
I would like to thank Dr. Paul Gallagher and the staff for their compassion and professionalism. My brother had to have his precious Abby euthanized which was a very emotional decision he had to make. Dr. Gallagher, after examining Abby, went the extra mile by taking some more ex-rays in addition to, and separate from, the ex-rays taken from the previous visit.
