This has been the family funeral home for years. I dont leave google reviews. When my uncle died a year ago, the funeral home refused to meet the family for a week and would not schedule his funeral. I called an informed the funeral director that I was a funeral director in Atlanta and understood being busy. My family recently entrusted this funeral home with my grandmother’s graveside burial service, and the experience was deeply disappointing and honestly heartbreaking. Despite the burial being scheduled weeks in advance, the grave had not even been dug when we arrived. The urn itself was not properly sealed, and the lid sat visibly slanted during the service. Smith Funeral Home was so kind and helpful during a difficult time. We are from out of town so we had a lot to work out on the phone. Logan made it simple and handled everything he could himself. When we got to Maryville, we enjoyed the sweet service they provided for my dad.
