I'm a woman and I felt uncomfortable with him. I have never felt that way with other doctors. Plus, I verbally gave him my medical history, and was given samples of a drug that has two common side effects that will harm me. They are in bold print to avoid the medication. I didn't find that out until I looked it up online. Plus, he was sarcastic and condescending. Thatt has no bearing on why I feel uncomfortable, however.
He always knows exactly what I need to solve my pulmonary concerns..I trust his advice! Andrea his nurse is very thorough esp. in relaying Doctor's orders for me when I call ..buy or refill scripts etc. Thanks.
Doctor is consistently A"brilliant" he .knows exactly what is needed! Staff very supportive too. Dr. Smith is excellent at following up on my pulminary conditon. The best! He's handsome too.. I'm 70 so it's okay to say..his professional but pleasant manner makes us feel less anxious of our health concerns too! Thank you.
I started seeing Dr. Smith in 2014. He really seemed to listen to me and at the time he got my asthma under control very well. However, flash forward to 2017, different story. On one occasion, he looked at the printout of recent CT scan I had done, told me "Looks like you need a lung biopsy" and walked out of the examining room. Also in 2017, he spoke with me about biologics perhaps helping me out. He sent me for the testing and my levels to qualify for the treatment were off the charts. Since I was between jobs and without ... read more

He was the rudest dr I have ever met and I will NEVER go back! He was showing me how to use a new inhaler. When I did not use it correctly, he started shaking his head and huffing and puffing very rude! I said I am doing the best I can (I have asthma and was not breathing all That great). He committed in a rude tone and said “ well some people need to try harder or get a kick in the butt! “. I said it won’t be you and your better side manner stinks! Horrible man!!!!
Experience is not so great. Dr sent in prescription to pharmacy on Tuesday, 8/22 - pharmacy had questions, spoke to office, faxed in information per office request and the prescription is still not ready. No one from the office will respond to the pharmacy and so for 4 days there has been no prescription.
Unfortunately, my father had a bad experience with this doctor. For 6 months, Dr. Smith insisted my father had Asthma. Luckily we switched doctors and learned that my father had MAC Lung Disease. We lost 6 months of possible treatment which caused serious setbacks. I would not recommend this doctor.
