From picking him up - to the service we had (last minute) at their facility, the care showed by employees during each step of this process was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Wendy was exceptionally understanding and guided me through the whole process after losing my father. I bawled in their office and she hugged me and kept handing me tissues. Very compassionate. When doing the viewing, I had my whole family and we were loud and probably took longer than we were supposed to, but they were so kind and let us mourne. Not pushy or cold about anything. My family, for several generations, has used Smith Lund Mills. I wouldn't have even considered using anyone else. I knew I could have gotten a less expensive service, but it was worth it to me to have my son cared for by our local mortuary. Everyone was so helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend Smith Lund Mills.
