RecommendedPurchased corn, Cherokee purple tomatoes, peaches, plums, and a piece of peach pie. It is all delicious!!! The corn taste like it was picked out of my Grandma Maynard's garden, incredible!!! First place I've ever found where the corn is as good as grandma's was.
Anyone know where the old bakers went?
We were there on Thursday, if you haven't had one of their melons you are missing out. It is so sweet, juicy, and soft. The tomatoes were amazing. We were so excited for the corn but was disappointed. The corn wasn't sweet and just didn't taste good, threw 3 ears away.
Ive been going to the original Smith's Farm Market since I was a child in the 70s! My mom went there Every Friday! We'd get breads, butter, cheeses, homemade pies, corn, and these soft butterscotch chewy candies that were out of this world! So in the 90s as a grown up then living in Groveport Ohio, I kept tradition going with my kids and took them there every Friday. Glad they are back in business! I've been buying fruits and vegetables from Smith Farm for many years as well as delicious baked goods! The last three years, I have bought all of my flowers and plants here for my home garden. I have never lost a plant and plan to make my annual trip later this month. Quality fruits, vegetables, and plants. Excellent service from the entire staff. Thank you for serving the community so well for so long!
