I love my home plan. However, I would not recommend or purchase a home from Smith Douglas ever again. I was in my home less than 3 months & started having issues with my flooring in both bathrooms. I was told by project manager with Smith Douglas that it was cosmetic & this was not part of their warranty. Eventually they did have my flooring replaced. I purchased a brand new home!!! This company is horrible they put defective siding on all the home in my development now it is cracking and falling apart and they won’t stand behind it. The siding was put up incorrectly to. We aren’t the only development where is happening.I also have two other construction issues inside my house .they apparently don’t use skilled laborers to.once you purchase your house you are left stuck with any issues that pop up.
