I’ve lived in 3 states and Smith County Texas by far has the most polite, professional and efficient staff at a tax office. I was helped on 5/1/26 by a young lady in booth 4 and she was amazing! Another reason why I’m so grateful to be a Texan!
They love taking my money
Laziest most unhelpful trash I have ever seen. You call to try and find out what it is going to cost to register a car and they say WE DON'T GIVE QUOTES OVER THE PHONE. That is because they can't make up bs charges and gouge you over the phone. I literally hate living in this county.
