On behalf of family members, I cannot thank the staff of Smith-Corcoran enough for their utmost professionalism, empathy and attention to every detail for the arrangements for my beloved wife of 50 years Pat. Starting with Karen on February 18th, my wife & I were able to plan for what we knew was coming. We had an exceptional experience at Smith-Corcoran in Palatine. Eric Urbaniak worked with my family to plan our dad's funeral details -- he was kind and helpful as we navigated the different decisions. Jay Smith was also fantastic to us during the visitation and funeral procession. The staff is top notch too -- Kelly and Sabine were great to work with. Thanks to all who helped make our experience such a worthy celebration of my dad's vibrant life.

The staff was terrific—helpful, accommodating, respectful. Everything was done in a timely manner & coordination with our Church & the cemetery was organized. We could not have expected a better result. My whole family really appreciated their efforts.

First of all, I would like to thank the entire team & especially Jay & Kelly who did an awesome job. Jay took care of the process right from the beginning till the end. I was surprised that anyone would have done this. He & his team made sure that everything went exactly as planned without any issue in a very short time. I very highly recommend this beautiful, well cleaned & well-maintained funeral home. Once again, their service was phenomenal.
