I had a horrible experience with Smith-Bucy. The project did not start on time. I contacted them the day before it was to start (after waiting weeks) and at 4 pm prior day they told me it would not start the next day. The project was to last 3 days, it did not end on time. I was not happy with the quality of the work, the planning to get it done and the lack of oversight. Smith-Bucy saved the day, or as our son put it "Mr. Smith saved our year!" After our original contractor left our porch and deck unfinished, Michael contracted to finish the job at a fair price (not knowing what complications he was going to encounter from someone else's work; there were plenty). Working with Michael from Smith-Bucy Construction has been an absolute pleasure! We recently moved to Charlotte and purchased a 5,000 sq. ft. home, after living in our 1,200 sq. ft.
