While the novelty of having Tibetan dishes on menu is a definite plus, the taste unfortunately was very unsatisfying. Chicken Sha Bhaley had a near-forgettable filling and a pastry dough oddly similar to a store-bought Jamaican beef patty. The Buffalo Thukpa broth was very gamey (almost musky) and underwhelmingly spiced — hard to finish. Sad to say, but a first-time experience unlikely to lead to a second.
Absolutely loved Tashi Delek – 5/5! The flavors were rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. Every dish felt authentic and perfectly spiced, especially the momos and thukpa. The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience had a cozy, home-cooked vibe. A hidden gem I’ll definitely be coming back to!
I love this place and everything about it. We ordered 2 chai tea’s, the fried beef momo, tikki masala and the greatest gobe Manchurian. Highly recommend coming with friends and family or even a hot date ;)
Not good food, went for lunch. No other customers other than us. Very bad Thukpa, not worth 50 dollars food, had to get up and eat at another place. Edit: The owner proposed a "refund" in the response to this review. The refund never came through, but also I do not appreciate this method of resolving reviews. I do not want a refund, this is my honest review- there are much better authentic Nepali restaurants around there this one just doesn't have good taste.
