My overall experience with the nurses and doctor was excellent—everyone was kind and professional, and the appointment itself went smoothly. However, the situation quickly turned frustrating and stressful once I received my insurance information a few weeks later. Yesterday was my second experience at Smilow's Orange location. I'm dealing with some potentially scary health issues, and both of my visits have been phenomenal. In my first visit, I met Dr. Foster and Lulu. Dr. Foster listened to my concerns, explained what's going on in a way that didn't instill me with fear, and gave me the base knowledge of what I need to know about what I'm facing. I have to shout out and give 10 stars and a A++++ to the staff at Smilow Cancer Center they are just the best, they’re like a great big hug, we laughed, we talked. You would think with all the sadness they deal with it would be hard to be funny but they weren’t dealing with sadness with me they were dealing with you have to have a sense of humor or your not sticking that needle into my arm.
