Everyone I met at the facility was more than accommodating. I was impressed with the quality of people who showed me exactly how to get to my doctors appointment they actually walked me to the office!!!

We were referred to hematology over three months ago and are still waiting to receive an appointment. Each time I’ve called, I’m told they are “reviewing the paperwork.” It would be one thing to receive an appointment date scheduled far into the future; it’s quite another to just be left hanging for months with nothing but anxiety. The email I sent to patient relations went unanswered. Will update review if we ever receive an appointment.

I want to acknowledge the kindness and compassion show by the nursing staff at Smilow Cancer Hospital. The nurses were attentive, patient and truly caring-their dedication deserves recognition and gratitude. However, I was deeply disappointed by the lack of efficiency and concern for the well-being of an elderly patient in critical need of care. despite repeated requests for help, including appeals to the hospital social worker, no meaningful assistance was provided.
