The hamburger steak was the best one I had my whole trip! Was recommended this place by a local and it didn’t disappoint.
I was disappointed that there was no LauLau the day we went. We ordered the Smileys Chicken/Garlic Butter Shrimp and Kalbi/Garlic Butter shrimp Combos. The Smiley’s Chicken was very dry and overcooked, hence the 4 starsThe Kalbi and Garlic Butter Shrimp were amazing! The young lady that took our order was very kind. As others stated, this is take out only with no seating, so be prepared to eat in your car or take it home.
Walk up only. This place is a gem. Great food pumped out to hungry people at outstanding value. Specials change and they are all great. Shocked to see prime rib and steak, but hey, sometime gotta step it up. Behind ACE off Rice Street...like most great places in Lihue.
A literal hole in the wall that was amazing! Really busy, but totally understandable since the food was so good!
