We are custom home builders at Priest Lake. Brian has done new wood floors in two of our projects and also helped our son salvage original wood floors in a 1909 home. We highly recommend! The floors in our new projects are beautiful. They stick to their schedule and do great work. For our son's home, the floors were in awful shape and no one really thought we could save them, but they did and they turned out far better than we could have expected considering their age and condition. Highly recommend this company!

Not only does Smiley provide great flooring, they refinish old hardwood in a superior way. My white oak hardwood is revitalized. Great job!
I’ve been a contractor for over 35 years. I can say without a doubt.. that this is some of the finest wood flooring available. I was so impressed, I put the Douglas fir planking in my own home. Just beautiful! They are good people too!
In 2016, Brian installed quarter-sawn tamarack in several of our rooms, and refinished all our wood floors with a natural oil. We are very pleased with the results. We loved using locally harvested and produced and supporting a local business. Brian was knowledgeable about the pros and cons of the various wood and finish options, and very helpful in guiding us to a choice we would be happy with.
