This dentist appears to have closed down following the departure of the former partner, with no notification to patients. Tremendously disappointing after having been a client for 30 years. Update Jan24 - administrator's notice has been lodged with Companies House and website taken down so does appear to have ceased trading now.
I’ve been at smilesite for 20+ years, all staff started to leave, they seem to have closed down recently with no explanation or warning. Reading the reviews I can now see why! I will be following my previous dentist to his new practice. His new practice can be easily found if you Google his name followed by the word “dentist”.
I arrived here today for my regular check up only to find the building has closed. I did receive a letter a few months ago to tell me that my dentist had left but that my appointment would be transferred to a different dentist at the practice. Obviously not! There is no sign outside saying it is closed, so I stood outside for 15 minutes like an idiot before going across the road to the corner shop. A man there told me it has shut down and had quite a lot to say about the shoddy state of the practice!
Terrible service. They fixed one of my teeth and I was supposed to have my other teeth done. On one occasion, the receptionist rings me up to say the practice is closing and it wasn't. I tried to get in to see the dentist for the rest of my teeth and they sent me to the wrong dentist, who couldn't do the work. Today, the tooth they managed to do, snapped in half!!!
