Cleanliness is a big issue for me. The hygienist should replace their gloves anytime they leave the area of care or have to touch drawers or cabinets. They should also have the sterile tools wrapped when you come to the treatment area until they start working in your mouth. I sat and watched the hygienist leave my chair with gloves on to find a tool she needed, then come back with those same gloves on and start opening drawers and then go right back in my mouth without replacing her gloves. I just had a dental implant procedure done today by Dr. Matt. Everything went off without a problem. His staff was very attentive and saw to it that I was made comfortable for the whole procedure. With the procedure itself, I hardly felt a thing from the first drill bit in the bone to the placement of the implant itself. I was actually awed by how painless the implant procedure was. Ive been going to smiles of Madison for around two years now- I had a crown put on maybe a year and a half ago, it took 6 hours total for him to put it in- it just fell out tonight. I had a filling that had to be replaced twice and part of it has fallen out since the last time he “fixed” it. Part of another filling on another tooth has fallen out. He misdiagnosed a cavity as staining, part of my tooth broke from decay and I needed a crown. It takes hours to have anything done because he schedules too many appointments around... read more
