Avoid this dental office. After 7 years of orthodontic treatment, I went for my upper retainer, which was part of my original braces package. The receptionist had confirmed no extra charges would apply, but when I arrived, I was asked to pay $300 plus an exam fee. When I mentioned the prior confirmation, the doctor dismissed me, saying I had no proof. The doctor is rude, unempathetic, and clearly more focused on money than patients. The historic building is not wheelchair or stroller accessible (not the clinic's fault though but good to know). It was an absolute nightmare getting the stroller in and out. This restriction wasn't mentioned in any communications with me prior to my first appointment. Dr. Cohen was impatient and condescending when answering my questions. I have been a long-time patient at Smileline Orthodontics, with all three of my children receiving treatment from Dr. Warren over the past several years. My two eldest children have completed their orthodontic treatment, and my youngest is currently midway through his. I love these guys!!! Keep coming back! I have been coming to Smileline Orthodontics for years! Both my kids had braces put on by Dr. W. Cohen when we lived in Pickering well over 14 years ago. I decided to fix my teeth. I could have gone to another Ortho as i now live in Port Perry but i wanted the best. I trust them 100%. I got the pleasure of meeting Dr. Cohen's daughter, Dr. R.
