We have been taking our 14 year old son to see Dr. Smickley for the past year and a half. He works well with him and helping us parents by providing feedback and advice on how to handle situations. We have a split family household and I think the Dr. handles things very objectively. I certainly don't see any biases and there is no favoring my son's mother. Counseling requires effort of the patient and family involved so you only get out of it what you put into it.
I've been seeing this doctor for years due to a court order. He is terrible and is clearly biased towards women and against men. He is vindictive and ruined my reputation with the courts. He should lose his medical license.
