This facility has severe issues on all levels. The P.A. Natalie is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone. However the staff particularly, the older lady who is the receptionist is extremely rude. I have called multiple times regarding different concerns and was either never gotten back with or completely disregard. This business is highly un professional especially when it comes to something as important and sensitive as mental health. If you want legitimate serious care please seek elsewhere and save your time.
For the record, I am NOT a new patient and that is why I blew up. Staff has been blowing me off for MONTHS as I've been practically begging to get in with Jamie. Then I try one last time, and the lady at the desk just says "she's not taking new patients" without even looking. It is not my fault that the software is too complicated for the staff to understand or that they never call when they are always the ones to offer the call. That call is never coming. Dr Roger's is a very smart, concerned and patient woman. Before she got there I was on the wrong meds and I have nothing but very good things to say about them. I feel safe and informed. She wants me to focus on diet and exercise rather than putting me on a drug. I love that!! She makes sure im ok and responds to my text right away. I recommend anyone going there. Especially LGBT folks. Your safe there. They listen and are just doing what they have to. Keep your appointments and be on time. Smooth sailing
The people there are nice enough and it was the first place I had found in years where I felt I was getting the help that I was looking for. Unfortunately, my therapist is leaving the practice, and I likely will too, as I have been trying for months to get an appointment with Jaime, but every time I'm told there's only one person in the office who is able to book me in the new system for whatever reason and that she will call me, but she never does. Very disappointed. I've been going to SMEG for several years with my daughter and myself seeing a couple of the therapists. It was something I've really needed recently as I've been struggling severely with stress, anxiety and depression. I had to cancel an apt two weeks ago the day of because of a migraine the day prior to the appointment and the day of the appointment the migraine returned.
