Dr. Smedley handled my son’s broken hand and stitches in the emergency room with such care and concern. He was skilled in making sure the complicated stitching left minimal scars. I highly recommend him.
Dr Smedley is the best. Nothing but A+ care from him and his team.
If I could write him a zero, I would certainly do so. My blood pressure was abnormally high and there was a lot of pressure and heat in my head, along with back pain so my family doctor advised I be seen at the emergency room. Dr. Smedley treated me so condescendingly and cut me short when trying to explain why I was there. I promptly dressed, removed my iv, and left. I will never go back and do not recommend this doctor to anyone wanting to be treated thoroughly, with respect and compassion. He didn’t even care that I left!
Dr Smedley is thorough and considers all possibilities which is what you need on the ED
Okay, so I’m self employed. I picked a really good insurance plan because I was pregnant with Emmy. Anyways the ER visit is $250 after deductible. I had no problem paying that. I specifically picked this plan because of that AND EIRMC accepts select health. I Already met the deductible when I had baby- in network and out of network. 4 months pp I thought I was having a stroke (I have APS and my hematologist said if I had ANY symptoms to go to the ER asap) so we went to the ER.
