I took my husband to the clinic for cavity filling. A female doctor did that filling so badly that it got removed automatically after 1 month and he's having sensitivity again. This is very unprofessional and unexpected.
Attended for an emergency appointment on a Sunday morning due to my own dentist being closed. I was told my an out of hours GP the night before I definitely had an infection as my nodes were very swollen, high heart rate and temperature and that I would need dental antibiotics. I paid £27 to be seen for literally a minute and was told I don’t need antibiotics as it’s healing and to use numbing gel and a mouth guard. There are a lot of negative reviews on here so i just wanted to put my two pence in, as everybody has their own experiences. If you go on to the actual Ivy Dental reviews you will see so many 5 star reviews for the emergency team that are meant to be on here that in my opinion they definitely deserve. I can say i have never felt more comfortable at a dentist in my life. it was easy to find, easy to park, as soon as i walked in i was greeted by the receptionist who was lovely. Absolute stinking attitude. Came for an emergency appointment, all the way from Rusholme, you can't predict bus times and you can't predict the traffic. Was late by 10 minutes and usually when it isn't an NHS patient they allow grace time of 15 minutes but I assume as an NHS patient it's free so they don't care much. Quality service pleasant staff but should be more accessible for patients to ring dentist which accept emergency it's all about £££££ even though I'm on nhs and probably cost a lot more because we can't see the bills they created that's the rigmeroll of truth everything is business related when it is human rights for anyone to get help.but got what was needed with quality care as anybody should care is care freedom of our control let's get back to basics simplicity is the key tooth out
