Ordered an egg sandwich while waiting for my connection. Simple, quick easy order. But not at this location. The female cashier was busy yapping to the cook. I waited 15 mins, still nothing. It wasn't a full flight so bording started and was moving along and I'm still waiting on one sandwich, not a burger, just an egg. I go through this airport pretty regularly and this place used to be my go to place for food but I will admit it’s been a while since I’ve been here and boy oh boy did it change. I ordered a double bacon burger with the smash tots and yeah it tasted great until I got halfway through the burger and looked at the patties and neither of them were fully cooked, 3/4 of the bacon was raw and the bottom of the container that had the tots in it was full of oil. Tried Smashburger at the Salt Lake City airport for the first time. It was pretty standard fast food. Good enough, but nothing memorable. Not something I would go out of my way to get again unless I just needed a quick bite. Service was fast and efficient, which is exactly what you want in an airport. No real atmosphere to speak of since it is an in and out setup. Overall, solid for convenience.
The worst slowest service i have ever experienced in an airport in my life! Moving like a snail, making shakes slowly while hamburgers stacked up under a heat lamp.. waited 40 min for a single burger. No apologies; could care less.! Avoid and go to another place better run
