Had the Old fashion ham and it was phenomenal. The service was superb, fast and efficient. I will definitely be back.
I visit Mackinaw City once or twice during the tourist season and always try to find variation in menus and what the establishment has to offer … oh my my my … this little gem!!! My bf tried the “Dixie Highway” and I requested an alteration to the “Hippo” using gf bread. I must say, the sandwiches are HUGE and worth every penny. Don’t let ‘gluten free’ options fool you; they can be just as tasty and this one hit the spot. I’m thrilled we gave it a shot and will definitely recommend!!! Bread very hard and cold uneatable I asked if bread could be heated and they said no they did not have a microwave I would give zero stars
Sandwiches were massive and delicious. Super friendly. For a small joint, its very nice and quiet. Came in about 11:30 am on a Saturday
Huge Sandwiches!. The menu was limited from last year but was super fresh, and tasty! The half soup half sandwich was great deal and the chili was perfect! The Kids all enjoyed their sandwiches and loved the Honey Mayo. The women working the counter was amazing! Great Job!
